Privacy Policy

Effective April 21, 2026

The short version

CountEdge is a card counting training app. We collect the information you give us — your email, your username, your training data, your session logs — and the information needed to run your subscription. We do not sell your data. We do not run advertising. We do not use analytics trackers. Your password is hashed and we can never see it. Your credit card is handled by Stripe and we never see it.

Who we are

CountEdge is operated by Jacob McCardell, Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. You can reach us at [email protected] for any privacy question or request.

Who can use CountEdge

You must be 18 or older to use CountEdge. The app teaches blackjack strategy and card counting. It is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Information we collect

Account information. When you sign up, you give us your email address and choose a username and password. We need these to create your account and to let you sign back in.

Training and session data. When you use the trainer, play drills, or log a session, we store what you entered. This includes your game rules, your bet ramp, your bankroll, your session results, your hours played, your notes, and your training statistics. This is your data and you can export or delete it any time.

Subscription data. If you subscribe to Pro or Elite, we store your subscription tier and when it expires. Your payment information is collected and stored by Stripe. We never see your card number.

Referral data. If you came through a creator referral link, we store the creator code so the creator gets credit.

Creator data. If you sign up as a creator partner, we store your payout information through Stripe Connect. Stripe handles your banking details directly. We never see your bank account number.

Device and browser data. Our hosting provider Cloudflare sees your IP address and browser type when you visit the site. We do not use this data to track you across the web.

What we do not collect. We do not use Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Sentry, PostHog, or any other analytics tracker. We do not use advertising cookies. We do not access your contacts, camera, microphone, photos, or location. We do not fingerprint your device.

How we use your information
